With
the assistance of members from the local Church
of Christ, we conducted a
medical
clinic for 5 days at Plaisances, a community located just outside of Georgetown. We
left the
hotel 10:40 am each morning and drove a short distance to the Plaisances Church
of Christ (this is where we
conducted our clinic). It did not take
long to get the clinic up and running each morning.
Clinic went started about 12 noon till about
5 pm. We had about an hour to talk with
each other in the church auditorium before the evening services.
Twelve hundred and thirty-five patients
were examined and treated. Every person was given the opportunity to
have a
Bible study prior to being seen for their medical needs.
