The preaching is more important than
the medical mission, since souls are saved

Luke 10:2 "Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is
great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the
harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his
harvest" This marked the 11th year for such a team of
saints to minister in Zambia. And each year, more and more people
put on Christ as their Savior, over 200 this year.

Preaching
Preaching was done daily.
Assemblies
On the two Sundays, we were assemblied with all the people for the
worship service. We sang the hymns in the Chitonga language, and
as time went along, I could sing along with them.
Bible Classes
Bible classes were taught at each location where we set up to conduct
the medical mission. While people waited to be seen, and
after they had been seen, they participated in Bible classes.
Church Planting
Three churches were planted, they include
the communities of Syasweka, Bbombo, and Sichifulo. There were 74
people baptized in the Singwamba area in villages where we had
not taken the medical mission before.

Message From Zambia
Singwamba Good News By Patson
Syula
Daniel Mweemba, who is our key contact
person for the medical mission program in Singwamba, visited me
on the 4th August and on the following day, the 5th August, Perry
Mubyadele and his friend, who are the church leaders at Singwamba came
to see me also.
All these three men came with a very
positive report of the impact of the medical mission outreach in that
area. One influential old man, Mr. Hachilala, (the Chairman of
the area medical committee) has started meeting with the new
congregation. Three churches were planted, they include Syasweka,
Bbombo, and Sichifulo.
At Singwamba 4 more people were
baptized and this makes the number of baptisms from 70 to 74. We
praise God for this.
The church leaders are very encouraged
and excited for the Bibles and ball caps they received. The old
women, men, and orphans are happy and thankful for the blankets they
received.
Thank you for your participation in
this effort,
Patson Syula

Here are excerpts from a letter from
Joseph Siamungandu, one of the Zambian spiritual workers:
"The work the medical team is doing is
very wonderful. Two days ago I visited Choma Hospital. All
of the people in the hospital, both workers and sick people, were
talking about the Zambia Medical Mission. I went to pray for the
sick people in the wards. They were very, very happy. I
dressed in the Zambia Medical Mission 2005 t-shirt. Everyone
wanted to say a few words to me. Almost each one of them wanted
to hear me speak to them. I was using these scriptures
(Romans 7:24, 25; John 11:25,26; Rev. 22:14). It was
wonderful. They asked questions. Everyone said they
heard wonderful things that were done, both in body and spirit.
Twalumba, the work should go
forward. Try to increase the days if possible. In some
places make 3 days full and in some make 2 days. I know it is
very dear in money (funds) but it can help even more.
Twalumba,
Joseph Siamugande
